that is why when peter goes to the future and asks sylar to teach him how to use his power he can fix the watch then skillfully use telekinesis to cut open Nathan's head :S

sylar could (for example) jump into a helicopter or a plane and "understand" how to fly it

I'm sure some of it is for writers to keep that evil edge but I'm confident it has to fill his powers need to see how something "ticks" (pun intended) :>)

There's an episode, can't remember witch one in particular, but in it Sylar talks about how when he looked at watches he could just instantly understand all of their operations, and how they function. I think this is Sylar's power - being able to look at something and understand how it works. This is why he needs to cut people's heads open - all he needs to do is look at the brain and he understands how it works, and therefore how his own brain needs to operate in order to duplicate the special ability of his victim. I can't say I know if he eats the brain after the fact, which seems to be left to speculation deliberately, but either way, I think Sylar's original power, before he gained any of his others, is the ability to look at something and know specifically how it works.

The story lines are becoming more predictable and slightly boring, The only fun part so far has been with Hiro who recently had part of his memory erased so all he has left are his memories of being 10 years old. He has returned to the lovable simple character we knew from season 1. Add on top of that, with his recent run-in with Seth Green as a comic book shop owner, it makes the Hiro/9th Wonders comic storyline one of the few bright spots.

I've been working my butt off supporting the family for the last year and had to focus on a just a couple of sites for maintenance. Had some downtime so I updated the site.

I would be tempted to claim that we now know this… or are you expecting to find out more sometime in the future?

She was shot by Sylar recently in Truth and Consequences, then healed using Claire Bennet's blood. Obviously the producers want her alive, why?

This is for what fans think is significant, not necessarily the admins and regular readers of Heroes Wiki Complete.

• The fact that West's last name remains unknown is odd. Does this mean he is related to a known character?

I believe his full name is West Rosen, that is what it is listed as on the main page of this wiki at the moment.

Also, I don't know this for sure but was Nathan's death snuck into the last episode as an alternate season ending due to the writers strike? My guess is yes, as it was kind of quick and cheesy.

Instead they killed off Niki Sanders & Nathan Petrelli. I thought both characters would have made for some interesting side stories but that's out of the question now.

Oh well, looks like we have some character profiles to do.

• They should have called this episode "Last Names Revealed". In one shot we got Bob, Elle's and West's last names (Bishop & Rosen).

• Matt Parkman is dangerously close to abusing his power. He mentally manipulated Molly, his Boss, and Angela Petrelli. How long before manipulation becomes second nature and he's doing without even thinking? I think we need a Stan Lee quote here "With great power comes great responsibility.

• I really thought we'd find out Kaito Nakamura's power but noooo, we still have no clue.

• Last (but not least) the last 12 member was identified as Victoria Pratt I guess we'll find out why Angela Petrelli was so intent on protecting her.

There's still more work to do and I still have to watch the Cautionary Tales episode which means I'll be back tonight with more updates :)

I realize and admit that Peter Petrelli is the most powerful hero but with all of his hang-ups and constant manipulation by the company makes you wonder if he is always making the right decisions.

Hiro on the other hand keeps increasing his resolve and commitment to justice and righteousness after each tragic incident. When faced with adversity his character continually becomes stronger, sounds like a true hero to me!

But a yin cannot exist without a yang so if Hiro is the true hero then who is the true villan commited more to evil and chaos than any other…Sylar? Bob? Takezo Kensei? someone else?

P.S. Not a bad description of Sylar's power.

He was revealed as a watch maker gone awry. In the raw sense of it, he has to remove the top of the skull and see how the power works. The show hasn't gone that far in to the past, but I would take a bold step and say that his first victim was a telekinetic. Ever since then, he’s made leaps and bounds on acquiring more gifts.

Something incredibly personal has come up into my life that I have to address. It popped up earlier in the month but I until I received a final answer I had hopped that certain results would come back negative but alas no….

There is a magic candle in a castle that writes down the name of magical children able to attend school that year. Mrs. McGonagall reads this list, and mails out the yearly "you can go to Hogwarts" letter.

First, Bob reveals that the Company is more concerned about the danger posed by Adam Monroe than they are with Matt Parkman's father.

Before Ivan was killed he told H.R.G. that the Company has changed and has new directives. Sounds like the death of Kaito Nakamura has yielded some new opportunities for some. Makes you really wonder what Kaito's power was if he could hold his position for as long as he did without being overthrown.

The interesting piece is the message he left in Ontario. The way the message reads it sounds like they actually knew each other and discussed the company at an earlier time.

"We were right about the company. The world is in danger. It’s up to us."

My theory is that this new character has a power similar to Hiro's to manipulate time lines. It's also possible the Peter used Hiro's power that he absorbed earlier and went back in time but I don't think so.

But now that he has screwed with the timeline by kissing the princess will we finally see an effect on the current timeline maybe a paradox?
