Also, I don't know this for sure but was Nathan's death snuck into the last episode as an alternate season ending due to the writers strike? My guess is yes, as it was kind of quick and cheesy.

Instead they killed off Niki Sanders & Nathan Petrelli. I thought both characters would have made for some interesting side stories but that's out of the question now.

Oh well, looks like we have some character profiles to do.

It's like they are deliberately inserting filler material to get through the hour. Will this storyline ever pay dividends???

Cannot wait to see this next episode

• They should have called this episode "Last Names Revealed". In one shot we got Bob, Elle's and West's last names (Bishop & Rosen).

• Matt Parkman is dangerously close to abusing his power. He mentally manipulated Molly, his Boss, and Angela Petrelli. How long before manipulation becomes second nature and he's doing without even thinking? I think we need a Stan Lee quote here "With great power comes great responsibility.

• I really thought we'd find out Kaito Nakamura's power but noooo, we still have no clue.

• Last (but not least) the last 12 member was identified as Victoria Pratt I guess we'll find out why Angela Petrelli was so intent on protecting her.

I realize and admit that Peter Petrelli is the most powerful hero but with all of his hang-ups and constant manipulation by the company makes you wonder if he is always making the right decisions.

Hiro on the other hand keeps increasing his resolve and commitment to justice and righteousness after each tragic incident. When faced with adversity his character continually becomes stronger, sounds like a true hero to me!

But a yin cannot exist without a yang so if Hiro is the true hero then who is the true villan commited more to evil and chaos than any other…Sylar? Bob? Takezo Kensei? someone else?

Something incredibly personal has come up into my life that I have to address. It popped up earlier in the month but I until I received a final answer I had hopped that certain results would come back negative but alas no….

Like I stated earlier it's very personal so I do not wish to discuss the details here but please understand that this has been a great site and I love all the readers, contributers, admins, and forum posters who supported us.

First, Bob reveals that the Company is more concerned about the danger posed by Adam Monroe than they are with Matt Parkman's father.

Before Ivan was killed he told H.R.G. that the Company has changed and has new directives. Sounds like the death of Kaito Nakamura has yielded some new opportunities for some. Makes you really wonder what Kaito's power was if he could hold his position for as long as he did without being overthrown.

The interesting piece is the message he left in Ontario. The way the message reads it sounds like they actually knew each other and discussed the company at an earlier time.

"We were right about the company. The world is in danger. It’s up to us."

My theory is that this new character has a power similar to Hiro's to manipulate time lines. It's also possible the Peter used Hiro's power that he absorbed earlier and went back in time but I don't think so.

But now that he has screwed with the timeline by kissing the princess will we finally see an effect on the current timeline maybe a paradox?

1. They are using Suresh's formula for locating heroes.
2. They have new person with special powers that can detect special abilities.
3. They are responsible for the mutation of her power and had the ability to track her from day one.

So, to make development of Heroes easier, I suggest members take specialties — for example, one person is responsible for updating pages related to a specific character. What do you think? I've got dibs on Bob, as I'm a big fan.

Other than that, everything else was well, predictable. Even the appearance of Niki as a hero needing help from the company didn't really get my mind going.

Like I said, I'll re-watch and see if there was anything out of the ordinary or maybe I was just in a dumpy mood?

My first guess is that Noah Bennett (while in Europe) will bump into Peter Petrelli.

Her new power seems to be the ability to download anything she sees and to imitate it exactly. Very Matrix like but without the plug-ins and downloads.

I'll watch tonight and catch up.

I'm still saying it's an illusion. What do you think?

This "renewing storyline" was used to allow Aeon Flux to be a show of philosophy, that is, each show was about exploring a philosophical principle or theme. For example, in one show, Trevor Goodchild killed all of the "weak" people on the earth so that the strong would inherit it, only to find that the next evolution involved humans getting "weaker" as their minds grew smarter. In another, Trevor makes copies of aeon, so she replaces herself with a copy and kills herself. Why? To ask the question — is a clone really the same person?

So, after all this rambling, here's the thing. I'm finding that each show of Heroes is based on a philosophical principle or theme similar to that of Aeon Flux (of course, without the "renewing storyline.") Is it just me?

Sylar is just being shown who is boss. The upcoming "boogieman" is supposed to be a really good psi character, very powerful, like Jean Grey powerful. Throw a bit of Descartes' Demon in there and .. well, what do you think?

This hasn't been done with a tv wiki before but I think I can pull off the role by waiting to watch Heroes until Saturday. —hartnell

Season two seems similar to season one where characters are allowed to go down there own story lines only to merge into a few and then one. Signs seem to be pointing to the same approach and Peter not looking into the box for his past made it kind of obvious.

Now the bigger question is who recovered him while his body regenerated. Whoever it is I'm sure is the one that gave him his new ability.

This is just a feeling, not a reasoned argument. It's as if mirrors are "lurking".

We know that she does have powers because :

1. She is a founder of the Company
2. She is the mother of Nathan Petrelli and Peter Petrelli, who also have powers.

We know this about her power(s) :

1. They cannot be used defensively or offensively because she was unable to defend herself when attacked in the police station in "Lizards".
2. She knew Matt Parkman was reading her mind, but this can be construed by her having a general knowledge of powers. I'm not for sure if she knew Matt Parkman has Telepathy.
3. Her power was unable to keep her from being caught while shoplifting.
